Q COSTA RICA – Take note that the “platina” bridge will be closed from 3:00pm Saturday to 5:00am Monday, to repair a sinking in the access to the bridge, which according to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MOPT) was foreseen.
The sinking is at the entrance of the three lanes of the Alajuela – San Jose direction put into service last month.
The closure will allow crews to make the necessary adjustments, while work continues on the San Jose – Alajuela half of the bridge that should be ready in the coming weeks.
