An Israeli technology machine currently supplies drinking water to the victims of the Pochote fire.
It is a heat exchanger, which follows the principle of any air conditioner, where the air is passed through a turbine that takes it to high temperatures, condenses it and ends up producing the water.
Almost 300 people lost everything in the fire in Barrio Cuba last Monday, the majority are still in a temporary shelter in the community rec center, waiting on aid to help them rebuild their lives.
The first inspector said the fire that destroyed the small makeshift community entirely, started by an electrical short circuit in one of the shanty structures.
